Complaining about bad service for benefits 

We do our level best to provide you standard services but if you think we have not provided to standard services you have right to complain about include:

  • Lose your documents,

  • a long delay before your claim or enquiry was dealt with,

  • bad advice, including wrong information or not telling you what you’re really entitled to,

  • rudeness or not replying to your messages

Discrimination if you’ve been treated differently because of your:

  • race

  • sex

  • disability

  • religious belief

Bari Law Associates is an independent community advice and information resource that provides generalist advice on a broad range of issues such as Housing, Welfare Benefits, Consumer and Immigration Advice ( EU SETTLEMENT LEVEL 1) to individuals who live locally in Bradford. We provide an independent impartial and confidential services. 

We encourage the take up of benefits amongst our users by giving advice about the appropriate benefits for them and work to empower local people to manage debt and money problems. We also offer assistance to fill in claim forms, to negotiate with the Department for Work and Pensions and other outside agencies and to deal with issues around electricity, gas, water, banks, creditors and housing.

You can be assured that all enquiries are treated in confidence and no details are divulged to any organisation, funder or individual without your prior consent.
